That's kind of mean.

Fair enough review. I agree with the gratuitous sex scenes, but Muffit? I think they should bring it back at the same time they bring back feathered hair on the fighter pilots. Which is sarcastic for never.

And of course, I reserve the right to comment on any TV show, be I a blog-master or not, Gilmore Girls included. Do you really think I'd be able to keep my opinions to myself?

There are definately a lot of religious overtones to the show....and my mom told me the shows religion is based on mormonism. Holy cow, I just googled BSG and mormon. Apparently my mom is right. I will leave it at that and ask that if you want to know the links between the 2 please google it.

P.S. The similarities talked about are not negatives about the church.

I've been meaning to check out BSG, too. Now I'll have to hit up Bryan to borrow his DVDs, too. I've heard there's a lot of religious overtones, too.

I've been watching the show as well and really like it. I'm not sure what the argument you and your brother in law have over the Gilmore Girls. First off it's a surprize and kind of funny to see guys fighting over a TV series programmed for women. Second off, the Gilmore Girls does have quite a bit of sex, while not visually graphic, it has been verbally so quite often. I wouldn't want a child of mine watching either series. And I can see why someone might find it morally askew. The show plays constantly on the mother daughter relationship, what's right, and what's wrong, and what's in the best interest of the child. Yet time and time again those same people make morally bad choices, yet everything works out good for the Gilmore Girls in the end. Battlestar Galactica at least is up front with what it's selling. And it's kind of a stretch to call it porno, or Gilmore Girls (though I like them a lot!) bambi!
