Located on the back roads of a quaint small village about 20 mins northwest of Pittsburgh this HUGE farmers market is one of the best places I have found. Janowskis Farm and Greenhouse has a wide selection of seasonal vegetables and herbs. It has a small bakery with fresh breads. I also enjoy the meat and cheeses provided to them by local farms for sale. One of the best things they have is Dairy products from a neighbor farm. The milk comes in glass jars just like they did back in the day. For the most part the items available here are much less expensive then those in Groceries. The selection may be less but that is because they only sale foods in season and dont import foods from countries or even states that grow year round. They are proud to support Eat Fresh and Eat Local and I am proud to support them.
